Online client galleries for photographers
Captures is an online gallery where photographers deliver photos to clients through a single link: clients view, pick favourites for the album, comment and download, and photos are unlimited on every plan, including free.

What a client gallery does
A client gallery is a private page where your client views and downloads their photos. Instead of a transfer link that expires, they get one branded link with your logo and colours. It loads fast, looks good on a phone or a TV, and tells you what the client viewed, loved and downloaded.
For wedding, family and portrait photographers, the gallery is the moment the client first sees your work as a whole. It should be beautiful, simple and work without accounts or apps.

A wedding gallery, from sneak peek to album
- 1
Sneak peek within days
Publish 20–40 highlights right after the wedding so the couple can share them with family.
- 2
Full gallery in collections
Organise by part of the day. Guests can get their own link without original downloads.
- 3
Album selection
The couple builds a favourites list with your limit. Album Starter turns their favourites into an album draft.
- 4
Prints and albums
Clients order prints and albums in the gallery store, paying cash on delivery.
Where your photos live
Originals are stored in EU data centres in Germany and Finland with a backup copy, and gallery previews are served from fast NVMe storage. Client data can be exported or erased on request, in line with GDPR.

Video delivery
The easiest way to send a video to a client is a video gallery: they watch the film instantly in HD on a phone or TV without downloading gigabytes, and the full-quality original (up to 4K) is there to download whenever they want.

Delivering wedding photos
A good wedding delivery has five steps: cull, edit within the agreed timeline, send a sneak peek within days, deliver an online gallery with web-size and full-resolution files, and run a structured album selection. Behind it all: at least two backup copies of the originals and a clear retention period.

How much an online gallery costs
Online client galleries cost anywhere from free to about 50 dollars or euros a month. For a photographer shooting 20–40 weddings a year a realistic budget is 10–25 a month, but the real difference between platforms is what that money buys: storage, video and whether they take a commission.

Pixieset alternative
Captures is a Pixieset alternative with unlimited photos on every plan including the free one, video measured in hours rather than gigabytes, and the whole business side — inquiries, contracts, invoices — in the same place, with originals stored in the EU.
