Upload whole folders to galleries without a browser: it continues exactly where it stopped even after a restart, sends several files at once and watches the folder you export to from Lightroom or Capture One.

  • Drop a folder on a gallery — subfolders become sets.
  • Lost connection, shutdown, restart — the upload continues from the last byte.
  • Up to 8 files at once, speed and time left, pause per gallery.
  • A speed limit, so uploads don't take the whole connection.
  • Watched folders: new Lightroom or Capture One exports go up on their own.
  • Skips files that are already in the gallery.

First launch

macOS: open the downloaded .dmg and drag Captures Uploader into Applications. On first launch macOS may say it can't verify the developer — open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click “Open Anyway”. You only do this once.

Windows: run the installer. If a blue “Windows protected your PC” window appears, click “More info” → “Run anyway”. You only do this once.

The app doesn't carry a publisher signature (Apple/Microsoft) yet, so the system asks for confirmation on first launch. Signing is on the way.

Plugin

Lightroom Classic plugin

Every Lightroom collection becomes a gallery. Re-publishing creates a new version (clients' favourites and comments stay), and clients' favourites come back to Lightroom as keywords and a red label.

Download the plugin (ZIP)
  1. Download the plugin and unzip it.
  2. Lightroom → File → Plug-in Manager → Add → choose the “Captures.lrplugin” folder.
  3. Create an API key with write access in the studio and paste it in Publish Services → Captures → Set Up.
  4. Clients' favourites: Library → Plug-in Extras → “Captures: client favorites”.

Phone

Captures for iPhone and Android

Your studio in your pocket: what's on today, new inquiries and galleries, with notifications on your phone.

  • Today: what's active, what needs your attention and what's coming up.
  • Inquiries: reply by call, email or WhatsApp and turn an inquiry into a project.
  • Galleries: add photos and films from your phone, publish and share the link.
  • Notifications for new inquiries, payments, signed contracts and client messages.

The app is being prepared for the App Store and Google Play. We'll put the links here as soon as it's out.

Until then: the studio on your home screen

iPhone: open capture.rs/studio in Safari → Share → “Add to Home Screen”.

Android: open capture.rs/studio in Chrome → menu ⋮ → “Install app”.
